The Dreamstealer - a Novel in Progress

While awaiting publication of 'Balthazar's Casket', I have begun another novel. This is a work-in-progress, the story of a boy called Gordie who discovers that the museum stuffed animals he has often visited come alive once the museum closes at night, and go on 'dream journeys' back to the lands they came from. They befriend Gordie and allow him to dream-fly the Spitfire that hangs in the museum.
Next time he sees his animal friends it's Christmas Eve and the little reindeer with a bad cold has been on a dream journey to Lapland where she has unfortunately sneezed on the magical powder Santa was about to sprinkle on the hooves of the reindeer that fly his sleigh - scattering and dispersing it all. The animals want Gordie to find some more magic dust and save Christmas. After this adventure, things get really serious. The 'opposite' of the Sandman who sprinkles dust on children's eyelids to give them happy dreams, the Dreamstealer is loose, changing children's dreams to nightmares.
Gordie has to go on a complex, dangerous set of dream-quests to gain what he needs to try at defeat the Dreamstealer - and, just maybe, find a way to reverse the devastating event, that fateful day two years earlier, when his dad was killed in a car crash.
